EBS login URL redirecting to HTTPS

Dear All,

ENV : R12.2.8 / 12.1.0.2

OS: RHEL 6

When we are trying to launch the EBS URL, it automatically redirects to https in latest browsers -- IE11, Chrome, Firefox 65. unable to access login page. example: http://FQDN:port -------> https://FQDN:port

when we tried lower browser -- IE10 the application is working as expected.

https is NOT configured in the environment. let me know if any info required.

What could be the root cause?

How to conclude Issue is from Oracle or network level?

can you check any profiles is set with https.

Hi,

system->Profiles, all are pointed to http.

when we tried lower browser -- IE10 the application is working as expected.

Can you check with network team whether they have set any DNS on this server.

Hi,

Yes we tried to modify this settings in chrome, removed site preferences -- still not working

We also tried modifying the securityservices.txt file for firefox, still issue persists.

We have also requested to network team, if any policy at network level causing this redirection.

Hi,

The issue was due to the domain. we tried changing the domain from host.com to host.local and we can access EBS in all latest browsers.
