We do not offer an upgrade kit to move the WS610 Win8.1 to Win10.
While the hardware does support Windows 10, migrating from Win8.1 to Win10 is non-trivial. A new Microsoft Windows license sticker is required, the Workstation BIOS would need to be updated (moving from a 32Bit Win8.1 to a 64Bit Win10 OS requires a new BIOS)
Conclusion: there is no upgrade in place from Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro to Windows 10 IOT Enterprise LTSB 2016.
One client is interested to bye license upgrade from 8.1 to Win10.
Can you please tell me procedure for updating BIOS from x32 Win8.1 to x64Win10?
sorry, but we do not offer any upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Window 10 due the reason described above

The workstation6 (610) which you buy in the Oracle Partner store , is licensed with a Win10 license but downgraded to Windows 8.1
you can re-image this device with a new windows 10 installation, and x64 bios upgrade (instead of the current x 32 bios which is current into the win8.1 device).
the license which at at the back of the ws6, is valid for both OS.
At MOS the nesseary files can be found.
we got a different statement for our Hardware Strategy team - will check again and come back to this thread
Update:we now got the following statement from our Hardware / OS License team:
The Win8 Workstations 610 are not licensed for Win10 and then downgraded to Win8.
These units are only licensed for Win8 and only have a Win8 Certificate of Authenticity *COA* (if it was Win10 licensed and downgraded, it would/must have a Win10 COA).
Maybe it´s a mix up with the Win8 Tablet 720, the 720 was a Win10 downgraded to Win8.
Also, it is true that both the Win10 image and bios files are on MOS; so one could technically re-image a Win8 WS610 to Win10.
However, without acquiring the Win10 License the system would be in violation of Microsoft Licensing Terms.
It is difficult to impossible for end users to get Win10 IoT LTSB licenses – as they are typically sold via authorized distribution channels.
Did the HW team revert back with some newer updates?
Many clients are keen to move to Win 10 with their existing WS610.
no news, no update, not on the roadmap.
