java.lang.SecurityException: User failed to be authenticated While Generating WSDL In SOA Integrated Gateway (Doc ID 2394900.1)

    3555167

      Hi!

We have exactly the same problem.

Oracle E-Business Suite Integrated SOA Gateway - Version 12.2.5 to 12.2.7 [Release 12.2]

Information in this document applies to any platform.

      SYMPTOMS

      On 12.2.5 version, Installation Issues
User failed to be authenticated while generating WSDL through SOA Integrated Gateway using ASADMIN credentials following this document for "Installing Oracle E-Business Suite Integrated SOA Gateway, Release 12.2 (Doc ID 1311068.1)" and it's Section 6: Validating Oracle E-Business Suite Integrated SOA Gateway Setup for SOAP Services:

      ERROR
"Exception 'oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Application: FND, Message Name: IREP_SOA_PROV_ACC_EXCEP. Tokens: EXC_MSG = oracle.apps.fnd.isg.mgmt.common.error.ISGManagementException: java.lang.SecurityException: User failed to be authenticated.; ACTION = GENERATE; ' occurred when attempting to perform 'GENERATE'. Please view Log/Error details for more information"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
      1. Generating WSDL through SOA Integrated Gateway using ASADMIN.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot generate WSDL's.

      CHANGES

      CAUSE

      Incorrect SOA_HOME paths.

The SOA_HOME path variables in the isg.properties and isg_contextfile.properties files were no correct.

      SOLUTION

To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:

      1. Correct the ISG_SOA_ORACLE_HOME path variables setting in the isg.properties and isg_contextfile.properties files set in the following four locations:

      - $INST_TOP/soa/isgagent.properties
      - $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/fnd/txk/util/isg_contextfile.properties
      - $RUN_BASE/EBSapps/comn/clone/jlib/java/oracle/apps/fnd/txk/util/isg_contextfile.properties
      - $RUN_BASE/EBSapps/comn/adopclone_<context>/jlib/java/oracle/apps/fnd/txk/util/isg_contextfile.properties

      2. Retest the issue.

      3. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.

Can somebody advice what the path should be indicated in those files?

We have one server with OEBS and another server with SOA. As I understand files indicated in solution are on OEBS server, in this case what path should be provided?
