    List of Packaged Applications ?

    Raja Ivaturi

Where do I find the entire list of packaged applications from APEX along with how they work?

It depends on which version of APEX you are referring to. Always include the full release number when posting an APEX-related question (among other essential information). All of this can be found by selecting the ? > About option in the Application Builder toolbar.

Documentation for the current APEX release can be found here, and that for all previous versions in the documentation archives. The App Builder User's Guide for each version contains details of how to use the App Gallery or equivalent feature to access, install, utilize, and review the supplied sample and productivity apps.

            Hi fac586

            Thanks for response.

            The version is 18

From the document you shared, it implies we need to get in to APEX to understand the available packages. There is no documentation about packaged applications outside the APP. is it correct?

            regards,

              Hi Raja,

Yes, that's correct - we have no formal documentation on the Packaged Apps.

To identify the entire list of Productivity & Sample Apps available in your APEX install, log into a workspace, and navigate to the App Gallery:

From the App Gallery page, you can then view the list of available apps - with the Productivity Apps being available to installed locks & fully supported (note that once unlocked, they are no longer supported), and the Sample Appsd demonstrating examples of specific components declaratively supported in APEX.

Paul has already provided you with a number of useful link in his response above, but you may also find it helpful to refer to a Youtube video that our PM, David Peake, has made available specifically on the topic of Packaged Apps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KP5kyNFEulg.

              Regards,

              Hilary
