I've successfully use Eloqua to pre-populated fields using Docusign Web Powerforms.
i read the above document. They are talking about a power web form.
I am bit confused in so many things here.
Please if you can explain with an example that would be good.
I have docusign envelop id and role id and quote number Stored in a CDO. Can I create a docusign url so that user can login to the page directly using that url?
Yes, I think this could be done.
Richard was on the right track with Power Forms.
The steps would be as follows:
- In DocuSign, create a template with your document.
- In DocuSign, create a Power Form from your template.
- In Eloqua, create the URL using the Power Form URL combined with Eloqua field merges, using the guidance here: https://support.docusign.com/guides/ndse-user-guide-populate-custom-document-fields-in-a-web-powerform
- When your email is sent, it should give the recipient a URL that brings them to a pre-populated Power Form. They would need to simply click 'Begin Signing' which would start the workflow within DocuSign and trigger an authenticated signing email to them.
If you wanted to get any more advanced than the above, you would need to start looking into the DocuSign API.
