    SQL Developer too slow to load tables tab

      When I connect to Oracle database and click on the Table tab on left hand side, it takes forever to load the contents.

      I have noticed this also with loading packaged (expanding packages tab on the left).

       

      there is a Running window bottom right hand side, which keeps on working without any use.

       

      Please suggest is any solutions, using  Version 18.3.0.277.
