The documentation for the new app leaves a LOT to be desired. I submitted multiple examples where it was incomplete or wrong a month ago. None of it appears corrected or clarified.
Apparently, according to support, "An import will include only modified records since the previous run." So apparently there's an implied but never actually documented "Last Modified Date >= Last Successful Upload AND" added to the beginning of the SOQL, similar to how the legacy integration operated. Any other filter clauses that your imports had can be added as text as they were previously.
For the part " SFDC APP Filter for Last modified date on Imports", automatically added 'behind the scenes'. the filter was removed from the entry text box as it's a required element of any import. When an import runs, it does so using the filter just as an auto-sync does.
If you want to dig out more SOQL, please refer to the following guide:
the filter was removed from the entry text box as it's a required element of any import.
Wouldn't it be more helpful to document that somewhere other than a random thread on Topliners? I couldn't find any mention of it anywhere when I went looking a month ago.
Actually, we have the KB document, it is in the progress to publish. You will see the document soon.
I still don't see the mention of the implicit "last modified date greater than last successful upload" where clause in the docs.
On another note for testing SOQL, I recommend either running the SOQL query in the developer console (if you have access and understand it well enough) or use workbench to easily run the same query and validate if it works, before putting it into the import.
I don't think we should have to 'dig' for the instructions.. I'd like them to be specified in the documentation
when will the updated document be published?
I got the same issue not sure if i'm writing it correctly but for Contacts for example i'm putting LastModifiedDate >=Last Successful Upload AND Email = '@'.
For Leads i'm putting LastModifiedDate >=Last Successful Upload AND Email = '@' AND IsConverted = FALSE.
Is the above correct or do I need to remove LastModifiedDate?
No need for the last modified date, that's already implicitly applied to each import.
I've been looking at Deleted leads, Deleted Accounts and Deleted contacts and in the old integration it has the below.
StartDate = Last Successful Upload AND EndDate = Today
Do you know what this would be in the App the above doesn't work.
I tried CreatedDate > YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss+hh:mm AND CloseDate = TODAY this didn't work either.
Is there any update to this?
