    Failing To Install Solaris Studio 12.4 On Solaris OS 11.3 (Doc ID 2304441.1)

    3376467

      I am trying to install solaris studio 12.4 on solaris 11.3 updated to SRU-28. The document 2304441.1 says I should be using the https://pkg.oracle.com/solarisstudio/support repository. However when I try that I get:

      >>>

      pkg set-publisher -G '*' -g https://pkg.oracle.com/solarisstudio/support -k /export/home/metatst/pkg.oracle.com.key.pem -c /export/home/metatst/pkg.oracle.com.certificate.pem solarisstudio

      pkg set-publisher: The origin URIs for 'solarisstudio' do not appear to point to a valid pkg repository.

      Please verify the repository's location and the client's network configuration.

      Additional details:

      Unable to contact valid package repository: https://pkg.oracle.com/solarisstudio/support

      Encountered the following error(s):

      However I cannot see how to request access to the solaris studio support repository.
