Interactive grid - conditional rows display

    Sgodavar-Oracle

I'm using APEX 18.2. I've an IG and need to handle the following use cases. I have an existing IG with a query and need display/hide/highlight certain rows depending on the logged-in user.

      1. Show certain rows and hide other rows

      2. Show certain rows and display other rows in different color

      3. Show certain rows as read-only, others editable.

is it possible with IG, if not any work around is appreciated, thanks for your help.

The short answers to short questions:

          1. Show certain rows and hide other rows

          That is your WHERE clause.

          2. Show certain rows and display other rows in different color

Use the Highlight option of an IG (Actions -> Format -> Highlight) and save that as the default report.

          3. Show certain rows as read-only, others editable.

Use "Allowed Row Operations Column" (found under Attributes of the IG).
