Oracle WebCenter Portal is already an ADF Application with ADF Security Enabled.
When extending Oracle WebCenter Portal with your shared libraries they already become part of the ADF Security setup.
What do you need exactly?
thanks for reply..
i have implemented role based security in ADF Application, based on roles i'm displaying buttons and other components with help of security context based on roles.
The same not working in webcenter portal is anything i have to configure to make work?
i implemented role bases security like this:
As I mentioned before, you do not need to enable or do anything with ADF Security in your developments when you are in WebCenter.
I strongly recommend you read the documentation about security in WebCenter Portal to understand it.
Usually you configure your WebLogic with an Identity Store (LDAP) and the Roles are loaded automatically when the user is logged in, so your EL Expressions
E.g.: If a user is "GeneralManager" it will be already loaded as part of the user Roles.
Usually, you protect WCP Pages or components by using direct User Roles from LDAP or Scoped Roles (roles you define in WCP manually using the Administration Console ("like jazn") that you can map to users or LDAP roles directly).
In addition, if you require more fine grain over a specific component in a Page then you can use EL Expressions to secure: https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/webcenter/portal/18.104.22.168/develop/expression-language-expressions.html#GUID-FA2D55…
']} -> Your LDAP Role/Group check
']} -> Check a WebCenter Portal App Role you created in Administration Console
I hope this information is helpful.
