As has been answered, there is a driver for the 19.3 release that supports Python 2 and 3. It's repository is on GitHub:

Note that this driver supersedes the now-deprecated Thrift-based driver that does not have nearly the same functionality. If you have used the previous driver you will need to rewrite code as the API has changed.
