I don't fully understand what you are asking. It seems like what you are saying is that you want the the items in the upper section of your form to change as the user selects (moves focus) different rows in the lower section. Sounds almost like the reverse of what a typical master-detail would do.
If I'm understanding correctly, you might be able to use WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE. As the record selected in the lower section is changed, make the desired changes to the items in the upper section of your form.
yes when the record changes in lower section , the upper section record should also change and show .
But if the screen is a master detail, then the detail on the bottom would all be coming from the same master row above, so how would moving from one detail row to another change anything in the master row?
Or is the top of the screen just the "expanded" version of the row in the bottom section? If so, you use copies of the multi-row block from the bottom on the top.
Gary, I don't think this is a true master/detail. This is why I said I didn't fully understand the question. If my guess is correct then what I suggested should be a possible way to make it work as Sajay described.
Clearly much more detail about the form and how it was designed it needed.
