I am trying to setup backups for my virtual machines using the ovm-bkp utility. I was successful in installing the rpm but when I try and run the ovm-setup-vm.sh script to create the individual config files for the virtual machines I get the error "Invalid VM uuid for vm 'vm name' ". I have tried looking online, but haven't found any cases that have the same error message. I have looked in the vm.cfg files for the virtual machines to look at the UUID and nothing seems out of the ordinary with it. I'm not sure what else could be causing this error. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Welp, I found the answer to my own question. It turns out that the templates that I had created my virtual machines from had the same name as the virtual machines, so the code couldn't determine what VM I wanted backed up. All I had to do was edit the names of my templates and it is working now.
