Note that the same limitations are listed under these OPERA Cloud licenses:
- Oracle Hospitality OPERA Professional Premium Cloud Service
- Oracle Hospitality OPERA Professional Standard Cloud Service
- Oracle Hospitality OPERA Enterprise Premium Cloud Service
- Oracle Hospitality OPERA Enterprise Standard Cloud Service
Also refer to the section "Oracle Hospitality OPERA Multiproperty Cross Postings Cloud Service – Per Guest Room (Part #: B81311)" where the limitations are stated to be the above 4.
The way I read those are limitations because those features are not available for OPERA Cloud yet. They are available for v5 only at this time.
Thank you for the feedback.
So if I have a customer that is currently using Opera 5 with multiproperty licenses including Cross Postings, it would not be advisable to go to Cloud at the moment as Cross Posting for Cloud is a limitation?

the short answer would be yes: OPERA 5 (any version and deployment) supports MP Cross Posting add-on, whereas OPERA Cloud (any flavor) doesn't. Hence, that specific functionality would be lost.
The long answer would be: are you sure they are currently using that functionality? Keep in mind that interface cross posting is available in OPERA Cloud and that it also allows for setup of special PM rooms to account for the revenue posted to remote properties. The only thing you couldn't do is manually (ie: not via interface) posting from property A to property B and keeping record of the transactions sent to the remote property.
