You are posting in Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) but not asking something about OBIEE, therefore I imagine you aren't in the right forum.
No idea what could match better your question, did you check the list of available spaces to see if there isn't something closer to the product your question is about?
Wouldn't it fit better in Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) & Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition/Sun DSEE or somewhere there around?
- I've Oracle OUD 12c (18.104.22.168) integrated with oracle OIM and OAM same version 22.214.171.124.
--> So is OIM provisioning to OUD? & OAM is using OUD as a back-end store?
2) Now we want to enable EUS ( Enterprise User Security) to centralize authentication for Oracle Database and Linux/Unix server for our organisation.
Answer: Enabling EUS doesn't have any dependency with OIM & OAM. You can use existing OUD branches as User respostory for Database authentication.
Message for end to end Integration plan for your case.
Thank you for your helpfull response.
Hereafter some details :
1) So is OIM provisioning to OUD? & OAM is using OUD as a back-end store? ----> Yes
2) Enabling EUS doesn't have any dependency with OIM & OAM : This is a very good need
Do you have a and to and intergration plan to share with me ?
Our plan is, for example to install a new Oracle OUD eus as proxy for existing OUD in oim & oam infrastructure.
So that Linux/Unix and Database authantication wil be proxyed by the new installed oud eus.
Is it also possible ?
lets have webex or call to discuss.
