I have been asked to look into a possible solution where our Central IT HelpDesk could reset passwords for Oracle EBS users. We already have 'Forgot your password link' on EBS signon page - but our IT executives want to give the HelpDesk ability to reset passwords for user when they call.
I would like to get any ideas on how could I give this password reset facility to HelpDesk without giving them all the abilities that come with that user definition form (dont want them to have things like person name change, login id change, password expiration, adding new responsibilities). Open to any idea/suggestion - however something seeded without personalization would be preferred.
