We identified the root cause and fixed the issue. It is working now as expected. The reason of ECM check-in working fine for few document types and breaking for impacted one's was the incorrect alias name in GROUPACL for one of the group. So during check-in, we set xClbraAliasList values from Alias table and give those groups RW permissions on the document. We identified that for one of the group alias name was incorrect and post correcting it check-in started working as expected.
As WCC error description was not to the point hence thought of sharing the case and solution.
