    fs_clone error

    966638

      Hi,

      fs_clone failed in 2 node (non-shared) system. validation failed for second node with below error.

      ERROR: Context file value of s_adminserverstatus on run file system is not consistent between the file system and database context file.

      ERROR: Context file value of s_web_admin_status on run file system is not consistent between the file system and database context file.

      When I check conext files in node 2 for the above variables.

      1 -  s_adminserverstatus

          run -> disabled

          patchfs -> enabled

      2 - s_web_admin_status

        run -> disabled

        patchfs -> enabled

      1 - How to fix this issue ?

      2 - What is expected value in second node for both run and patch?

      3 - Which file system context file need to change ?

      4 - What value need to set in context file ?

      5 - Run autoconfig from both file system (run/patch) ?

            Hi,

              Both should be in enabled state actually.

              What stage of cloning you are in now? Did you already complete the run file system? If yes, you change the value to enabled and run autoconfig.

              Check section: 9. Check if adminserver status and web admin status are in sync - In Document:

              Thanks for the update. as per note Id values enabled on primary node.

              In multi node environment, this value should be enabled on all node and in both run and patch file system?

                Hi,

                   Good question and of course no because Admin is only for Node 1.

                    Check the below output from a Multi-Node environment where ebn1 and ebn2 are 2 nodes.

                [appltest@ebn1 ~]$ echo $CONTEXT_FILE

                /u02/appltest/apps/fs1/inst/apps/TEST_ebn1/appl/admin/TEST_ebn1.xml

                [appltest@ebn1 ~]$ grep s_adminserverstatus $CONTEXT_FILE

                            <oa_service_status oa_var="s_adminserverstatus">enabled</oa_service_status>

                [appltest@ebn1 ~]$ grep s_web_admin_status $CONTEXT_FILE

                            <oa_service_group_status oa_var="s_web_admin_status">enabled</oa_service_group_status>

                [appltest@ebn1 ~]$

                [appltest@ebn1 ~]$

                [appltest@ebn1 ~]$ grep s_adminserverstatus /u02/appltest/apps/fs1/inst/apps/TEST_ebn2/appl/admin/TEST_ebn2.xml

                            <oa_service_status oa_var="s_adminserverstatus">disabled</oa_service_status>

                [appltest@ebn1 ~]$ grep s_web_admin_status /u02/appltest/apps/fs1/inst/apps/TEST_ebn2/appl/admin/TEST_ebn2.xml

                            <oa_service_group_status oa_var="s_web_admin_status">disabled</oa_service_group_status>

                [appltest@ebn1 ~]$

                Thanks,

                  Thanks...as per the note, update the value in run file system and run autoconfig. But in my case values are enabled in patch file system and disabled in run file system. So I should change the value in patch file system..rt?  And run autoconfig in patch file system?

                  Please advise

                    Hi,

                        Yes it need not be enabled on patch. ADOP will manage it during

                       Was any adop cycle in progress in source before starting cloning process?

                       I am just thinking of a scenario why would this happen in first unless you are in adop cycle. Do you know why this happened?

                    Thanks,

                    Vishnu

                      Hi,

                      Whats the output of these queries?

                      See if they are matching with application context files.
