The issue is most likely a configuration issue that you need to change on the F5. Enabling PreserveProxy or PreserveHost or a similar setting should resolve the issue. The F5 can be confirmed as the issue if you are able to access Webtier/Tomcat behind the F5 directly and are not receiving any errors.
