19.4 object/worksheet label color

Running 19.4 on a Mac

The object/worksheet label colour is set to white, which makes them very difficult to read... especially when highlighted.

I'm sure the text used to be black... Does anyone know where to change this value? I've searched for tab / label etc in the preferences

When I minimise the side bar... they turn black
