Do you see Tables (Filtered) for the node? if so, clearing the filter by right clicking on the Tables node will list all tables.
Are you logging in as same user from both clients to the same database (CDB/PDB)?
Thank you for response,
Yes, I cleared the filter, but still have the issue. I connected database using the same user (i.e. schema A) for SQL*Plus and SQL Developer. Everyone in my team has the same issue.
You're comparing apples to oranges.
select * from all_objects shows you every object in the database (that you're allowed to see)
If you ran the same query in SQL Developer, you'd see the same thing.
But that's not what you're doing.
You're asking SQL Developer to show you the tables for a particular schema - the one you're logged in as.
The proper test to do in SQLPlus would be - select * from user_tables
If you want to see things in other schemas, use the Other Users node in the connection tree, and navigate to the proper user, tables item.
Thank you for your response,
Everyone in my team has the same issue.
Yes, we did cleared the filter at Tables. These tables are not partition tables. We connect to the same database using schema A user.
We can see the tables by running select * from all_objects in SQL*Plus, but we only see some tables by running select * from all_objects in SQL Developer,
I found the issue. The TNSNAME was incorrect,
Thank you mNam and Jeff!
Ha, my next piece of advice was going to be because you're not in the database you think you're in
Glad you got it sorted.
