The workaround that we thought about is to make a checkbox as a reminder to attach the files, but the cons for that is the user can check it without really attaching the attachments if they get busy or something!
Not really. I usually add a required field to remind them to add attachments, but nothing validates against that. I do it as a Yes/No pulldown. Problem with a checkbox is that both checked and unchecked are valid entries.
