    Custom Concurrent Program Start time End time

    RajeshAlex

      Hi All,

      When I create a custom concurrent program all the log information I create are after the time stamp for the start and end which is

      provided by the concurrent program as default.

      Standard/oracle provided concurrent programs has log information in between start/end time in the log file.

      How do I make the custom concurrent program to put the log file between the start and end time in the log file ?

      Thank you

      Best Regards

          In your pl/sql package, put calls to:

          fnd_file.put_line(fnd_file.log,'Your log message here');

            I am already using fnd_file.put_line . However the log messages are put after the Start/End time.  Oracle seeded concurrent requests has the log message between Start/End time.

            I am looking to see if my custom concurrent request can write the log message similar to the seeded concurrent request ie the log message should be between the Start/End time.

              I'm not sure, however log files are used when there is something which needs investigating - i.e. the exception. Does it really matter whether it's printed after the start/end times or within it?

              Personally, I usually add a procedure to my packages anyway:

              procedure lg(msg in varchar2) is
              begin
                fnd_file.put_line(fnd_file.log, to_char(sysdate,'dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') || ' : ' ||msg);
              end;

                I created a new /custom concurrent program

                +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

                **Starts**19-MAR-2020 08:52:08

                **Ends**19-MAR-2020 08:52:09

                +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

                Start of log messages from FND_FILE

                +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

                Begining of  XX_RAJESH_ALEX_PKG  log file started at 08:52:08

                Login User is : RALEX

                c_auto_notification  Record No :1

                l_username   is : RALEX

                End ofXX_RAJESH_ALEX_PKGG  log file completed at 08:52:09

                +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

                End of log messages from FND_FILE

                +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

                However if this was a seeded concurrent program, all the log info will be between

                **Starts**19-MAR-2020 08:52:08

                **Ends**19-MAR-2020 08:52:09

                I want to put my logs between the start and end

                Thanks
