How to make few columns/fields non-editable in EXCEL using XLS Template

Hi Team,

Customer need to generate the report output in Excel. We require some columns in excel to be protected where user cannot put any values and some where he can freely put his values. we are using the xls template and excel output

Is it possible in BI/XML publisher in oracle apps. If yes , then how to achieve this.
