    FILE_EDITION

    happy10319

      Hi,

      On R12.2.4

      We are clonning.

I ran perl adcfgclone.pl appsTier  successfuly on RUN.

Now want to perl adcfgclone.pl appsTier  on PATCH file system.

      Then:

      $ . ./EBSapps.env PATCH

      But when :

        echo $FILE_EDITION

        run

      Is it normal?

      What is the problem?

      Thanks.

Are you sure you sourced the patch edition properly?  What does it show when you source EBSapps.env?

          . dev122.env patch

          Follow this note for cloning.

Cloning Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (AD-TXK Delta 6 or Lower Codelevel) with Rapid Clone (Doc ID 2047809.1)

After you configure the clone on run, you must run adpreclone on the run, then shutdown and copy to the other fs for patch edition, then configure the clone there.

            Hi,

You don't have to source env to run adcfgclone

As you have not configured patch filesystem yet , the above output could be due to that.

if you have AD-TXK Delta 7 (or higher) you can clone in single step

            perl adcfgclone.pl appsTier dualfs
