A note about the versions i use:
My Client is using the 10.x calendar api and it is running against a 9.x calendar server. My code works fine against the 10.x calendar server.
Well, after asking in the SR again, i got the information that this has already been logged as an internal bug, that the dev team is working on it and that the 10g client library is incompatible to the 9er calendar server.
But I found a workaround by myself: Send the Event with REPLACE and directly afterwards send the same VCard again with MODIFY. This updates the description as I needed it.
Hope this helps someone.

that the 10g client library is incompatible to theThe 10G calendar sdk hasn't been certified against the 904 calendar server but most functionality is compatible. Alot of server bugs fixed in 10G haven't been backported in 904 servers so it is possible to encounter small glitches like this one.
9er calendar server.
Thanks a lot. That trick helped me a lot. Unfortunately I can't use it when I storeEvents() for instances of recurring events as the RECURRENT-ID changes when I first storeEvents() with the replace option. Do you have tips for that? Thanks.
