How to restrict record access on Outlook add-on by ownership

    We are beta testing the Outlook add-on for Oracle Engagement Cloud and recently found out the users have been able to update Account, Contact, and Opportunity records regardless if they are the owner or not.

     

    In Oracle Sales Cloud, they are only permitted edit rights if they are the Owner or a member of the team.  This security measure doesn't seem to have carried over to Outlook though?

     

    How do we configure the Outlook add-on so that users can only update existing records if they are in their ownership?
