Pushing code into Azure DevOps Cloud - not authorized

    Mike Kutz

I'm trying to add some new files to a code repository. (public repo on Asure DevOps Cloud)

Right now, I'm checking out Azure DevOps Cloud, which uses git protocol.

When I try to push the changes, I'm getting "not authorized".

But, it's for a repo that I created.

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

How to fix? (or can't it)

      Thanks,

      MK

I have no idea what is going on.

Was SQL*Dev compiled with an older version? case insensitive passwords? or what?

          workaround

          • don't use SQL*Developer commit/push
            • COMMIT throws "file not indexed" failure
              • this is odd because the .git folder exists and the files show "current or updated" correctly in SQL*Developer File Viewer
            • PUSH throws "not authorized" failure
          • do all things using the "git bash" shell
            • this includes CLONE, COMMIT, PUSH

I had to install the "git for windows" client. (2.27.0-64)

And, I had to install "git credential manager for windows". (1.20.0)

          - which had to install .NET 4.7
