What version of SQL*Developer are you using?
What "Validation Boolean Function"? Unit Testing?
How do we reproduce the error?
A step-by-step guide would be very helpful. (sometimes - w/ pics. Just make sure any code you add can by copy+pasted into our system.)
Sure, will take care of it in future.
The SQL developer version is 19.1.0.094
Yes, its related to Unit testing. When creating a unit test we can use Boolean Function as one of the ' Process validations' . I have used the validation with the same sample code as provided by Oracle . The Unit test runs into the error mentioned. above
I'm on SQL*Developer 20.2 running on a 19.5c database (Oracle Cloud Free Tier - ATP)
A quick test did not produce any errors.
UT Test Results
CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE ut_common_tests AS procedure noop; END; / CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY ut_common_tests AS procedure noop as begin return null; end; end; /
The "Boolean Test" used was the initial one given:
-- Please replace this code with either a boolean -- expression like this: -- RETURN FALSE; -- or else a code block which returns a boolean value -- similar to the following: DECLARE l_count NUMBER; BEGIN SELECT count(*) INTO l_count FROM dual; IF l_count <> 0 THEN RETURN TRUE; ELSE RETURN FALSE; END IF; END;
Thank you . I think This bug is related to version of SQL developer then .
