Oracle provides native storage, querying, and inference of semantic data represented using RDF and OWL. It can be used as the infrastructure to develop applications for semantic-enabled business applications - some examples are data integration and semantically enhanced search. The functionality is SQL-based, enabling the combination of semantic queries with relational queries, and extending all the benefits of a database to semantic data. A lot of information including whitepapers are available at http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/semantic_technologies/index.html .

This feature is available in Oracle 10gR2 onwards. It is not available in Oracle 9i.
