Sync mode not supported

I am having trouble getting one of my treo users syncd up. I have 3 other users using syncml with a problem but for whatever reason this particular user get the error message:
sync mode not suppported
All the settings are exactly the same on all the phones. Anyone have any suggestions?

Well I was able to get it working. I made sure that all of the contacts were correct on the oracle side and then did a reload phone. This erased all contacts on the phone and pushed everything from the oracle contacts to the phone.
Phone syncs perfectly without error now.
