What is the error message you get in the ias log file ?

                Hi,

This class that it reports it cannot find (VariableResolver) comes from the standard servlet.jar library, that should be available in OracleAS 10.1.2. You should not need to include it in your EAR file.

My suggestion is to check your OC4J configuration files to verify that servlet.jar is not commented out or excluded anywhere. If that does not help, I recommend asking the OC4J discussion forum.

A JHeadstart 10.1.3 application is just like a regular ADF 10.1.3 application as far as deployment is concerned. When in doubt, create a test ADF application without JHeadstart, with a page similar to your JHeadstart page, and see if the same problem occurs when deploying that.

                Hope this helps,

This sounds like an OC4J/J2EE issue that is not related to JHeadstart. To simplify the test case, you could create a simple drag-and-drop ADF application without JHeadstart and see if the same problem occurs there.

Can you then please log a TAR at MetaLink ( http://metalink.oracle.com/ ), or ask this question at the OC4J/J2EE forum at OC4J ?

                    Thanks,
