I'm developing an application and we are stuck to decide whether to go for the ODynaSet or the Stored procedure for updating inserting or for deleting the records.
The scenario is - we have a database with so many tables when a save is done we will save data to lot of tables which can be around 50 tables.
So the questions are
1. which one will be good ODynaset or call stored procedure.
2. What happens when the call to SetFieldValue of ODynaSet is called
3. What happens when the call to Update of ODynaSet is called.
4. Will the SetFieldValue goes and hits the database or it is only when the Update is called.
It's better to call stored procedure. Performance is maximize when your script resides on the server, the rest of your question can be found in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14117_01/win.101/b10119/o4c00044.htm
