You have to give a little more information than that, e.g. your SQL query, and any other information that could be useful to diagnose the problem.
It's a basic report based on a query 'select * from table'
Within 'Print Attributes' I only set 'Enable report printing' = Yes
The option 'Enable CSV output' within 'Report attributes' works fine.
Ok, so could you make this page or report public, so I can take a look? Also, could you try printing a PDF document from within the Application Builder, e.g. when looking a the detail view of the pages of an application (Application Builder home page), there's a print link, does that result into a valid PDF document? Also, are you running this in English? And what is your page height and width?
I'm running 'Application Primary Language' in Dutch.
Changed it to English (en) and now I'm getting a PDF with data.
Great..., but strange it doesn't work with Dutch
It's the page size that's breaking it in Dutch (and other languages). The problem is when the default page size is set to A4, which translates into points with decimals when rendering the PDF. You can run this in Dutch, however when editing the PDF attributes, please change the Units to Points, and round up your page width and height. We'll patch that soon.
Thanks Marc. It works fine like this.
I have also tried the workaround (units -> points) suggested by Marc.
It works great, but …
There is an another problem dealing with Czech diacritics.
RTF, HTML, XLS is OK, but PDF is not !
Any suggestion will be appreciated
I have tried the pdf print icon off the main applications page ["(Application Builder home page), there's a print link "], like you suggested, but still get the 'HTTP 404 Not Found' web page.
HTTP 404 Not Found
Hope you can help
I am trying to use the apache FOP printing setup

I'm having the same issue, check your apache error logs.
Each time the page not found error in the browser is shown there is a error generated by the database:
[Wed Sep 19 19:25:52 2007] [error] mod_plsql: /pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept ORA-22293
ORA-22293: LOB already opened in the same transaction
Someone was hinting that this issue could be related to the possibly the nlslanguage settings. I'd be interested to hear if anyone solves this one.
My environment is on 10g running in Windows through an Apache mod_plsql that was installed with Oracle 9i install on Linux.
I have exactly the same problem, although I cannot see any error in my apache log
I am running on 9i
Thanks in advance to anyone that could help
Correction: I also get the same message in the apache log.
Sorry for the mistake
Hi, Glad to find that I am not the only one.
I tried to print a standard apex report (Home>Utilities>Object Reports>Table Columns) and get a 404 message.
The apache error.log shows:
Is there a solution for this?
[Thu Oct 04 08:03:21 2007] [warn] mod_plsql: Stale Connection due to Oracle error 22293 [Thu Oct 04 08:03:21 2007] [error] mod_plsql: /pls/apex/f ORA-22293 ORA-22293: LOB already opened in the same transaction
