ORA-01034: ORACLE not available

Hi everybody,
iam facing a strange poblem post installation.I am using a linux laptop with OS as ferodra core6 and AMD processor.i installed oracle 10G XE server successfully.i even configured the oracle succesfully, but post, iam not able to log on to sql prompt using sqlplus nor wth the browser i.e http://localhost:8080/apex.
my tnsnames.ora looks like this.

iam installing using so my .bash_profile looks like this

iam able to do tnsping and everthing, but when i am doing an sqlplus to my local i.e sqlplus system/system @XE..i get the follwing error.

pleaase help ..me iam going sick out of this error.
