Unable to create an instance of the Java Virtual Machine

577014May 10 2007 — edited Aug 21 2008
Hello!!

i have this error when i run Raptor or SQL Developer
"Unable to create an instance of the Java Virtual Machine"

it started to happen from one day to the other (from 9-5-2007 to 10-5-2007)
the only thing that happened between those days was an windows update...
i've removed and re-installed Java several times and nothing happens, other applications based on Java, such as "MySQL Migration Toolkit" work properly but Raptor or SQL Developer don't work...

any ideias to put Raptor or SQL Developer working?

Answer
No. Partitioning is an extra cost option in Enterprise Edition.

Are there any alternatives for that..?

How should we import the tables created with partition in enterprise edition into a standard edition...???

Assuming your source and target oracle versions are the same, try pre-creating the table on target database as regular table and import with ignore=y.
