Do I need to install a Web Server (like Apache) on linux before installation?
I'm having the same issue. Did you get this problem solved? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
This issue has been resolved. If you get this error you will need to manually config your web server.
For apache see page 96-97 in the installation doc (install_cserver_unix_10en.pdf)
i made these changes but it don't solved the problem.
i have also the error:
Network message format error. Unable to parse browser environment or content item. Unable to parse properties. Name-value pairs are missing an '='.
anyone any idea?
but i have the problem when i installed the content server.

I had the same problem. I was trying to get the page using "http://localhost:4440/idc", where i had given 4440 port number to run my admin service.
It was solved when i:
- configured correctly my apache server (web server) as mentioned in install guide. Be careful when copying example entries: change them as per your setup.
- tried this url: "*http://localhost/idc*". Note that my web-server is running on port 80, and i tried to get the page going via the web-server, instead of directly to admin server.
Now i am able to see Login page..
Hope this helps..
Two important steps:
1. Follow the post installation step in the doc install_cserver_unix_10en.pdf. There, you will be asked to configure your web server for UCM.(Appendix A)
2. Try connecting to the port number specified in the httpd.conf of the Apache server. Dont connect to the port number specified for admin or server URL.
