I am attempting to setup our dev to match our prod essbaseenvironment. Using EAS, I would like to copy/migrate an theexisting database (*.otl, *.rul, *.csc files) from the productionenvironment to the development environment. Is there a way to"refresh" the Planning database in development with thenew database outline information that I copied from production?

Simply put, it would be a similar process where using HyperionDesktop (Planning) to refresh/create the application from Planningdb to the Essbase db, but a backwards process instead. Does thatmake sense? Thanks.

Hi,

Copy the Production Planning schema to Dev along with Essbaseoutline and do the Incremental Database refresh . Then bothwill be in sync. Export production data and do import in Dev

Hope this works...

Thanks!
