Recently we have copied one app(Aero) from one database(server 1) to another database(server 2). Also we are unable to see the copied app Aerotest (Aero to Aerotest)in Shared Services and also unable to register it.

If it is not showing in AAS, do a create app ( and if necessary a create database) and the files will be found. (The Essbase.sec needs to have a record of the app.) Then you should be able to register it.

Generally, using the migration wizard, then reloading data, is a safer way of moving an app between servers as you have the ability to move native security as well.
