    OPatch Java error

      I am trying to install a patch to OEM Agent for Windows.

      Getting the following error when I try the "opatch inventory" command. Below are the error details..

      Any help how to get over this..thank you..

      C:\ora\oem00\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\agent10g>opatch lsinventory -detail
      File Not Found
      Java could not be located. OPatch cannot proceed!

      OPatch failed with error code = 1

          Ensure that your JDK location is added to JAVA_HOME and PATH in your environment variables before running any program that uses Java.

          Assuming your JDK is in C:\ora\oem00\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\agent10g\jdk

          You can also temporarily set this in the command prompt while running opatch.

          set PATH=%PATH%;C:\ora\oem00\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\agent10g\jdk\bin
          set JAVA_HOME=C:\ora\oem00\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\agent10g\jdk

          Note that you may have various copys of JDK on your system, including java downloads that are not part of any software install (e.g Oracle). So, when setting JAVA_HOME and PATH, ensure that you do not make any mistakes with JDK versions on your system.

            Still getting the same error after setting the path and javahome.

              Hi,

              Did you go through the README.txt?
              This will have all the details of the pre-requesites. Which java version you are using?

                Java is installed by OEM Agent installation itself (didn't have to do it seperate)
