FRM-13008 :- Cannot Find JavaBean with

      Hi eveybody

I want to access MS-Excel through 10g forms. I configured webutil... All of its functions are working fine except "OLE"

At design time when I open WEBUTIL canvas I get following error

"FRM-13008 :- Cannot Find JavaBean with name 'oracle.forms.webutil.ole.oleFunction.'"

All other beans are visible on the canvas.....But 'oracle.forms.webutil.ole.oleFunction
is not visible even on canvas

      Anybody knowing.....Plz help

The ole functions are in the Jacob software, specifically jacob.jar.

This is in a separate download from sourceforge. If you look in the webutil documentation it tells you how and where to download it.

And have you added the frmwebutil.jar, frmall.jar and jacob.jar files in the FORM_BUILDER_CLASSPATH in the default.env file??
                  Hope it helps you,

If you search on the pdf file of the documentation of the webutil, there is something to add to avoid error at the design time. Check, probably it will resolve your problem.
                      Hope it helps you,

Just a note on an old topic.

For whatever reason, editing any part of .../forms/server/default.env has no effect on my Forms setup. Instead I edit the Windows Registry at:

For beans (assuming you have already moved it to .../forms/java/), adding the jar to the registry item FORMS_BUILDER_CLASSPATH allows for design-time use. Adding the jar to the archive_jini line(s) in .../forms/server/formsweb.cfg allows for run-time use.
