Meanwhile I figured out that the SEM_MATCH query obviously eliminates duplicates which leads to the reduction from 6.9 to 6.6 million triples.
However, the initial question still remains: I do not yet understand why triples contained in the table holding the semantic model are not returned when the semantic model is queried with SEM_MATCH?
I'd suggest downloading the latest patch for 11g (links are posted by Melli in the following thread: Latest Patches for Oracle as suggested by TopBraid and then re-loading and then re-trying the query. Please let us know if that solves the problem.

After applying the patch and re-loading the data the query produces the expected results.
