    ORA-01041: internal error. hostdef extension doesn't exist

      Hi All,

      AFTER MIGRATION FROM 32BIT TO 64BIT,I AM GETTING ERROR WHILE RUNNING EXP

      OS Version : Solaris SPARK 64 bit , version 8
      Database : Oracle 9i EE
      version : 9.2.0.1.0
      Export Parameters:

      FULL=y
      #FILE=/oracle/product/9.2.0/dbs/fulldb_backup_qamar_`date "+%d%m%y"`.dmp
      GRANTS=y
      DIRECT=y
      ROWS=y
      CONSISTENT=y
      INDEXES=y
      LOG=/ecas/oracle/backup/exp_log_file.txt

      Error Message:
      EXP-00008: ORACLE error 3113 encountered
      ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
      EXP-00008: ORACLE error 1041 encountered
      ORA-01041: internal error. hostdef extension doesn't exist
      EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully


      I have also posted this message on metalink SR no : 6615198.992 , but still didn't get any solution, and as per SR instructions i have executed these commands:

      sql> conn / as sysdba
      sql> create table exppkgact_backup as select * from sys.exppkgact$ ;
      sql> delete from sys.exppkgact$ where package = 'DBMS_AW_EXP' and schema='SYS';
      sql> commit;



      Now when run Exp command , it stuck and nothing happens every time i run it, and no error/message found in my alert file, exp output:

      Connected to: Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
      With the Partitioning, OLAP and Oracle Data Mining options
      JServer Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
      Export done in US7ASCII character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set
      server uses WE8ISO8859P1 character set (possible charset conversion)

      About to export the entire database ...

      . exporting pre-schema procedural objects and actions
      . exporting cluster definitions

      Kindly help me , because I am running it on my production platform, and important thing is that I can't go back to 32 bit .
