    Unable to update the Costing Organization field during Org Setup

      Dear Experts

      I am not able to update the costing organization field during org setup.

      1.Create SOB and OU
      2.Made OU as Item Master Organization with Standard Cost method
      3.Create a Inv org
      4.Attach the Item Master Org
      5.Now in the the costing tab ,Item master Org is appearing in the Costing organization field instead of newly created org.And this field is not allowing to update

      Can anyone help to resolve this issue

          This is how the values are chosen to be defaulted in :

          The two Item Attribute Controls - Costing Enabled and Inventory Asset Value Control The Costing Organization depending on their values:

          Case 1:
          Costing Enabled Controlled at - Master Level
          Inventory Asset Value Controlled at - Master Level
          The costing Organization will default to Item Master Organization(if the Item
          Master Organization is Standard Costing) and is non updateable.
          (Defaults to the Current Organization if Item Master Organization is Average Costing)

          Case 2:
          Costing Enabled Controlled at - Org Level
          Inventory Asset Value Controlled at - Org Level
          The costing Organization will default to Current Organization and is non updateable.

          So, the Functionality is , The Costing Organization is defaulted and cannot be changed and is controlled by Item Attribute Controls as explained above.
