    connect to content with cert

    user526074
trying to get some audit data from OCS content.
my ocs is ssl-enabled and requires cert to access.
in this case, is it possible to make a https connection to content?

What does this have to do with audit data?

If you're accessing through the web, then you have to enable ssl on the content services middle tier. There are instructions for doing this in the ocs install/security guide and the content services administration guide.

If you're talking about using certificates to authenticate to web folders, then it is not supported. I believe the web folder use either basic or digest authtication so to use client certificat authetication, you would have to modify(ie hack) the dav servlet.

thnx for the resp. new to java and the content api.
what i have to do is read all the libraries in the domain (some 500)
and any sub-folders, to extract roles assigned to the lib/folder/files.

i'm going through the testcases from the accellarator to figure out what i would have to write to get this output. is this something that can be done easily?

i used the examples TestSearch to extract the library folders and documents.
the sample gives the PATH. i want to extend this to show the MEMBERS and their ROLES. is this possible? if yes how?
