This may help:
My SSO registration was using hostname (e.g., hostname). Found this out by looking at 'ssoreg.log'.
'httpd.conf' and '/etc/hosts' both were configured with FQDN (e.g., 'hostname.mydomain.com').
To fix this discrepancy I ran $ORACLE_HOME/sso/bin/ssocfg.sh to re-register SSO.
I also have the same problem and I have checked my etc/host file and httpd.conf settings both using the FQDN (e.g, hostname.mydomain.com). Then from my ssoreg.log which was the very first log since the server was created also shows the FQDN format.
But everytime I enter user and pwd to sso login it gives me the same error you had before "Oracle SSO Failure - Unable to process request".
Any particular that I'm missing?
I was trying to login into Oprah.com and go this message. I am a lay person and I went to the address you posted, but it's all geek to me. :-) Do I need someone who knows geek to fix this or are there any simple step by step instructions posted some where.
