              Do other forms run correctly?
Everything seems to be OK, the 2 JAR files are loaded, so I do not understand this error message.
Maybe you could try with a more recent version of JInitiator (last version is I think)

                Please Help

I have followed the steps mentioned at OTN for installing JInitiator
                Uninstalled older JInitiator
Changed the base.htm file at /forms90/server/base.htm
                Changed the jinitiator_download.htm at /jinit/jinit_download.htm
                PUT the jinit13128.exe at /jinit
                Changed classid at /OraHome1/jinit/us/jinit_tags.htm
                <OBJECT classid="clsid:CAFECAFE-0013-0001-0009-ABCDEFABCDEF"
While running a form (9i DS) the browser keeps asking for downloading the JInitiator for 2 or 3 times and finnaly shows done at status bar without showing the form runtime layout

Also apply some changes in the /forms/server/formsweb.cfg file:
                  # Parameters related to the version of JInitiator.

I have no linux machine to test.
Anyway, JCalendar is to use with the Sun Java plugin, and JCalendarJINIT is to work with the JInitiator.

                        • 9. Re: getting server URL at client
We use forms 9i ( on mutiple 10g OAS ( servers. Users access the Login form trough http request in browser, type their id,password and choose the URL from a LOV so that the URL is passed to web.show_doc('http://':global.url'....) for running reports.

Please suggest how to get IP address of the AS and store it in a variable after the AS responds to, a request from Client Browser while Opening the Loggin Form
