PO Status caught in a loop!
May 11, 2008 10:08 PM
I have an instance where a purchase order has been created from a requisition. There are two issues affecting it, causing the process to stall.
1. I have po value tolerance turned on
2. the po has been modified and requires re-approval.
The Po value breached the tolerance and cannot be submitted for approval as a result.
the po cannot be cancelled (and returned to the requisitioner) because it sits between rev 0 and rev 1 awaiting re approval, but due to the above condition, it cannot be re-approved.
I need the po to be executed with the new price
Any ideas on how to proceed appreciated?

If the Supplier has already modified the PO and sent for approval, then a notification must have gone to the buyer. Please ask the Buyer to reject the PO. Or do let me know if I am overlooking something.
