I find Oracle Calendar's lack of a minimize-to-tray option intolerable.
As a result, I've resorted to using a small utility program, Trayconizer ([http://www.whitsoftdev.com/trayconizer/]).
There's some more info on it at [http://www.freewaregenius.com/2008/06/13/trayconizer-add-built-in-minimize-to-tray-functionality-to-your-apps/].
In Windows, simply:
1) Create a shortcut to the trayconizer exe
2) Right click on the shortcut icon, select properties
3) Select the Shortcut tab and in the Target field, specify the path of the executable to be passed as a parameter
(e.g. "C:\Program Files\Trayconizer\Trayconizer.exe" "C:\Program Files\Oracle\Calendar\OCal.exe")
Trayconizer does put Calendar into tray, but the reminders for events will be displayed at background, which makes them easy to miss. Are there better solutions?
