ALBPM BPEL support

smaroudasJul 11 2008
Sirs,

On behalf of Intrasoft International S.A. I am working on an Enterprise Project as a team Leader in Development team. In this project we are intending to use BEA AquaLogic Products, especially ALBPM and ALSB.

According to our project we have already created (through previous projects) BPEL 2.0 – WS Business Processes.

So we need a BPEL process engine to import them. Although BPEL seems the profound solution we are facing problems even we create some test processes to see how ALBM BPEL Editor behaves. Moreover we cannot find any support for correlations sets either in WSDL editor, either in BPEL editor. Is these sets supported by your engine? How do we create them? It seems that we cannot define property extensions and property alias to WSDL, so we cannot create correctly Correlations Sets which need WDSL property extensions.

Also we found that in a BPEL process we cannot assign variable elements using xpath queries. With simple types input and output works OK but when we define in our WSDL complex types then from SOAPUI tool we get a Time Out Response.

Besides the sample that you have in BPEL studio, is there any other resource (tutorial, manual, etc.) we can use for BPEL provided by your company? This would be really helpful!

We would like also to ask. What is going to be the roadmap support for BEA PBL language. Is it going to be included in new Oracle products or not?

We hope that you will respond to our request soon, since we have to decide if ALBPM BPEL engine will work smoothly for our project.

Looking forward to your prompt reply.
